I Game Awards 2020 hanno premiato i migliori videogiochi del 2020. A causa del COVID-19, l’evento non si è tenuto dal vivo come negli anni precedenti ma è stato invece ospitato un pubblico virtualmente da Geoff Keighley il 10 dicembre, 2020.

A vincere è stato il titolo di Naughty Dog, The Last of Us Part II, superando Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Doom Eternal, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Ghost of Tsushima eHades.

Inoltre il gioco è stato onorato con altri 6 premi tra cui “Best Game Direction” e “Best Narrative”.
